Phatomics, a leading Korean medical AI startup, has entered a strategic partnership with Siemens Healthineers to promote the adoption of AI-based cardiac imaging solutions, Myomics and Angiomics, across hospitals in Korea and internationally.
This collaboration brings together Phatomics’ deep learning technologies for cardiac MRI (Myomics) and CT (Angiomics) with Siemens’ cutting-edge medical imaging systems and clinical network. The partnership aims to enable earlier and more accurate diagnosis of heart diseases while supporting hospitals that may lack dedicated cardiac imaging resources.
“Cardiac MRI is widely recognized as the gold standard for diagnosing heart conditions. However, high costs and the need for specialized expertise have limited its use,” said a Phatomics spokesperson. “Our goal is to make cardiac MRI and CT more economically accessible and easier to interpret, even for institutions without in-house cardiovascular imaging teams.”
Phatomics and Siemens Healthineers plan to provide comprehensive support to healthcare institutions — including imaging protocols, AI interpretation tools, and deployment guidance — to help lower the barrier to cardiac imaging adoption.
By streamlining the diagnostic workflow and enabling automated interpretation, the companies hope to improve clinical accuracy, reduce physician burden, and expand access to life-saving heart disease diagnostics.
The partnership also opens the door for further joint development of AI tools in the cardiovascular field, particularly in imaging-intensive areas where diagnostic quality and speed are critical.
